24 Solar Terms Wall Chart 2027 — A Year in Traditional Chinese Time

One page. Twenty-four terms. A full year of the traditional Chinese calendar, arranged as a ring you can read at a glance and hang on the wall.

The poster

• All 24 solar terms (节气) arranged clockwise around a ring — 小寒 at the top, so it reads in the same order as the 2027 Gregorian year
• Every term carries its exact 2027 date (month and day), printed in vermilion
• The ring is split into four seasons and coloured by season: spring jade, summer red, autumn ochre, winter blue
• Each term gets its four-character meaning — 立春 春之始, 雨水 降水渐多, 惊蛰 蛰虫始动 — so the chart teaches, not just decorates
• The twelve months run along the bottom: 12 months × 2 terms, each cell with the month, the term name, its date, its meaning and its English name
• The centre seal: 2027 / 二十四节气 / TWENTY-FOUR SOLAR TERMS / 丁未·羊年
• Brush calligraphy for the term names (华文行楷), seal-script 「节」 stamp, paper-and-ink palette

Why this chart

Most solar-term posters are decorative and undated — pretty, but useless for planning. This one is dated for 2027 specifically: every term sits on its real date, checked against the same dataset as our 2027 lunar calendar (lunardate, lunar_python and cnlunar, cross-verified with zero discrepancies).

Hang it once and the year tells itself: when spring starts, when the rains come, when the heat breaks.

Please read

This poster is for cultural interest and decoration. Solar-term dates are calculated for Beijing time (UTC+8); if you are far outside East Asia the civil date may differ by one day. The dates are specific to 2027 — a chart for another year needs different dates.
