About HSK 1
HSK 1 is the first level of the Chinese proficiency test. It requires 150 words and tests only listening and reading — no writing. You should be able to understand and use simple phrases, introduce yourself, and handle basic everyday situations.
The test takes about 40 minutes. You pass with 120 points out of 200. The words below are the full official list, grouped by topic so you can learn them in context rather than alphabetically.
